In fact, since 2005 the new owners' professional vision has introduced significant changes to the traditional way of business management. All the efforts were concentrated on the creation of an operational business intelligence centre that would deliver precise and opportune information on customer's requirements and would ensure an efficient support for the decentralized operation management throughout the country.
In this context, around 2007, Aliservice decided to implement the TecFood Software developed by Teknisa, as a tool for planning menus, dealing with inventories and controlling daily the operation management of distinct contracts that have currently been covering a significant part of the national territory, from the North to the South.
Jorge L. Canales, Alisevice General Manager, states that “a specialized professional team has taken over the responsibility of giving a remote support to each contract management daily, covering all the levels of the logistic net and services – from planning menus to controlling deliveries and services provided to their clients. In this way, by running TecFood, the customer's requirements are currently processed in a very efficient and rapid way. The key players in the act – Planning, Purchase, Warehouse and Operations – are strictly linked by the use of the software, through quotations, purchases, inventories, Fiscal Records, among others. Furthermore, with CoreVision, the KPI's daily analysis and the centre results are easily done and the audits are performed with greater efficiency.

According to Mr. Canales, the company's future plans involve the system improvements and the processes plus technology enhancement by intensively using the internet. The implementation of SchoolMeals Software by Teknisa in the massive National School Lunch Program is the next great challenge for the company. The Program requires an efficient solution on remote information to support the logistics and the management control of numerous educational establishments spread throughout the country.
