20 Years of Teknisa: President's words

A DYNAMIC AND INNOVATIVE COMPANY 

I will like to use this special moment in the history of TEKNISA to reflect about "what we have achieved".

In the first years of the company's existence we faced difficulties that every emerging company faces, especially when its business isn't well defined, but we succeeded in achieving our aim. We went against the odds and contrary to statistics that show that 90% of companies siezed to exist after the first two years of existence. At that time we discovered our vocation, we were not intimidated by lack of resources and we did not desist when there seemed to be no other way out. We fought with guts and determination! The first warriors were born at this time.

In the following years we overcame the challenges of emerging companies, challenges originated form the shock created by growth. As soon as we learnt the rhythm of the walk, the steps became wider, always more pronounced than what we expected. Investments reached magnitudes that were never imagined and each day the risks increased. We believed in our ability, we invested again and placed a bet on our conviction. At this time we were already a small army whose attitude outlined the “TEKNISA way of being”  

We became an established company. With intelligence we explored the opportunities, created new opportunites, entrepreneured with improved management, created new products, opened new market segments, conquered the international market. We learnt the tricks of business management; attained several quality certificates. We broke paradigms, revolutionized concepts, restructured processes and organizational structures, developed effective leaders. 

Today we are a mature company that moves with the trends of modern management practices only found in big companies. However, unlike most big companies, our movement occurs intuitively, because it is part of our staffs' culture, an outstanding team. This provides agility and autonomy in all aspects, which makes TEKNISA a dynamic and innovative company. 

Solidly structured, with a tripod, people-process-technology, in the best equilibrium of the company's history, in the near future i see an even greater TEKNISA: more clients, greater geographic presence, more foodservice segments, better technology, more innovation. All this will only be possible by creating even better conditions for our clients and for the “TEKNISA family”.
